1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. This RSG Policy is provided for informational and customer care purposes only. It supplements, and does not replace, amend, or otherwise modify the General Terms and Conditions or the LoneStar Casino Agreement. In the event of any inconsistency or conflict between this RSG Policy and the General Terms and Conditions or the LoneStar Casino Agreement, the General Terms and Conditions and the LoneStar Casino Agreement will prevail.

1.2. This Responsible Social Gameplay Policy (“RSG Policy”) describes the control tools, information and resources available to our end-users and may be updated or amended by us from time to time in accordance with the LoneStar Casino Agreement, with the most current version posted on the Site and showing an updated effective date.

1.3. This RSG Policy forms part of the LoneStar Casino Agreement. This RSG Policy should be read in conjunction with and is complementary to the General Terms and Conditions.

1.4. Terms which are defined in the General Terms and Conditions and which are used in this RSG Policy shall have the meaning given to them in the General Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise defined in this RSG Policy.

1.5. It is your responsibility to read and review this RSG Policy, as amended from time to time.

1.6. This RSG Policy intends to provide you with information and tools so that you can participate in the Contests in a responsible manner.

1.7. If you have any questions regarding this RSG Policy, please contact us at support@LoneStarCasino.com.

2. PROTECTION OF MINORS

2.1. Those under the age of 19 or the minimum legal age (whichever is higher) required by the laws and regulations of the jurisdiction that such individual is located in at the time he/she access the Site and uses the LoneStar Casino Services (“Minors”), are not permitted to register an account with the Site and use the LoneStar Casino Services, even if such person is in the presence of an adult. Where we have reason to believe that a User Account is being used by a Minor, we may request age-verification documentation, suspend or close the User Account, and take such other steps as we consider appropriate to prevent or limit access by Minors.

2.2. Notwithstanding Clause 2.1, we recognize that the internet is readily accessible by Minors in many homes around the world. We recommend using third-party service providers to restrict Minors from accessing the Site and using the LoneStar Casino Services. Examples of two providers who provide such filtering services are Net Nanny® and CYBERsitter©. These third-party services are provided as examples for your convenience only, and we do not control, endorse, or warrant any third-party products, services, content, effectiveness, or legal compliance, and we are not responsible or liable for any acts, omissions, or advice of such third parties.

2.3. You acknowledge that due to the nature of the internet and the fact that access is controlled through users’ own devices and networks, we cannot guarantee that Minors will never access the Site or use the LoneStar Casino Services.

3. SOCIAL GAMEPLAY TOOLS

3.1. We may, but are under no obligation to, monitor your use of the LoneStar Casino Services or to apply any Safer Social Gameplay Tools (including any Limits, Taking a Break, or Self-Exclusion) on your behalf. Any Safer Social Gameplay Tools we make available are provided as part of our customer care and social responsibility initiatives only and do not create any ongoing obligation to detect or prevent problem social gameplay. Our decision to apply, not apply, modify, or remove any such tools does not create any duty of care or liability to you or any third party.

3.2. We will use reasonable efforts to make the Safer Social Gameplay Tools (including, without limitation, Play Limit, Purchase Limit, Daily Time Limit, Activity Reminder, User Account History, and any similar features) available as described in this RSG Policy. However, these tools are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis only and may not always operate without error, interruption, delay, or in real time. You acknowledge and agree that you remain solely responsible for managing your own time, gameplay, and spending, and for monitoring your own use of the LoneStar Casino Services. The Safer Social Gameplay Tools are intended as supplementary aids only and are not a substitute for your own judgment, decisions, or self management.

3.3. We provide several tools (“Safer Social Gameplay Tools”) to help you stay in control of your participation in the Contests, and we encourage you to become familiar with them.

3.4. A decrease to the Purchase Limit, Play Limit or Daily Limit (as applicable) will take effect immediately. Increasing or removing the Purchase Limit, Play Limit, or Daily Limit (as applicable) will only take effect after a 72-hour period.

7.1. If you are experiencing problems with your social gaming and notice behavioral patterns that indicate a need to take a break from the LoneStar Casino Services, we recommend seeking support from organizations that can help. Example of organizations that may offer support are:

These organizations are independent third-party support services and are not connected in any way to us. They are provided as examples for your convenience only, and we do not control, endorse, or warrant any third-party products, services, content, effectiveness, or legal compliance, and we are not responsible or liable for any acts, omissions, or advice of such third parties.

8. CONTROLLING ACCESS

8.1. We provide several options for you to control your access to the LoneStar Casino Services.

8.1.1. Taking a Break: You can take a break by sending an email request to support@LoneStarCasino.com with “Taking a Break” in the subject line. We will use reasonable efforts to apply your requested break within a reasonable processing timeframe after receiving your email request, which may take up to twenty-four (24) hours. Taking a break allows you to temporarily suspend your participation in the Contests for the following periods:

  • one (1) day
  • three (3) days
  • seven (7) days
  • fourteen (14) days
  • thirty (30) days

You will not be able to access your User Account for gameplay during the period which you have requested, and your break generally cannot be shortened or cancelled before the end of the chosen period, except where we are required or permitted to do so by applicable law or our internal risk policies.

8.1.2. Self-Exclusion: You can self-exclude by sending an email request to support@LoneStarCasino.com with “Self-Exclusion” in the subject line. Self-exclusion allows you to suspend your participation in the Contests for an extended period as follows, and once a self-exclusion period has been applied it cannot be shortened, cancelled, or otherwise overridden by you until the end of the selected period:

  • Six months
  • One year
  • Three years
  • Five years
  • Indefinite

You will be unable to access your User Account during the period which you have requested.

During your self-exclusion period, if your User Account has been verified to our satisfaction, we will make reasonable efforts to ensure that any Redeemable Sweep Coins which are credited to your User Account can be redeemed by you, subject to Clauses 18.1 to 18.5 (SWEEP PRIZES) of the General Terms and Conditions.

During your self-exclusion period, you will be unsubscribed from all marketing communications.

If you self-exclude for a period other than an indefinite self-exclusion period, your User Account cannot be reactivated until the self-exclusion period has ended. When the self-exclusion period has ended, your User Account will be reactivated only after we have had a reasonable time to process the reactivation and subject to any applicable legal, regulatory, or risk-based restrictions, and we may decline or delay reactivation where required by law or under our responsible social gameplay policies.

If you self-exclude for an indefinite period, your User Account cannot be reactivated until at least six months have passed. If, after that time, you decide to reactivate your User Account, you must wait a further seven days before the reactivation takes effect, and any reactivation will be subject to a reasonable processing time and any applicable legal, regulatory, or risk-based restrictions, and we may decline or delay reactivation where required by law or under our responsible social gameplay policies.

Termination: You can terminate your User Account by sending an email request to support@LoneStarCasino.com with “Permanent Account Closure” in the subject line and providing the reason for termination. The requirement to provide a Confirmation of Understanding is not intended to unreasonably hinder or delay termination and closure will be processed within a reasonable period, subject to any legal, regulatory, fraud-prevention or security checks we are required or reasonably consider it necessary to carry out. Any User Account terminated under this Clause 8.1.3 cannot be reactivated. Clauses 13.6.2, 13.7, 13.8, 13.9 and 13.10 (TERMINATION OF YOUR USER ACCOUNT) of the General Terms and Conditions will apply.
